Our Promise
We Listen
We promise to listen to you. From the very beginning, it is our priority to listen to every mother. We listen to your needs, concerns, and choices coming into the doula-mother relationship and also throughout our journey together. You can expect to feel seen, heard, and involved in every detail of your birth.
We Advocate
We promise to advocate with you. We will equip you with the information, tools, and confidence to self-advocate for yourself in making informed decisions about your own birthing choices. You can expect to feel comfortable standing up for your birthing rights and let your healthcare providers know your birthing choices without fear.
We Educate
We promise to educate you on your birthing choices. Helping mothers to have a sentient birth is fundamental to the doula-mother relationship. It is our role as a doula to give you all the information you need to make informed decisions about your birth of choice, your body, and your baby. You can expect to feel a sense of ease and confidence in understanding the options you have going into your birth.
We Support
We promise to support you and your family without judgment. As your doula, we will provide physical, emotional, and educational support to mothers (and families) who are expecting, experiencing labor, or have recently given birth, with the purpose of helping mothers to have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience. We will not pass judgment on your birth choices, instead, our role is to support and uplift your decisions. You can expect to feel a sense of peace and comfort knowing that your doula is by your side.
